The Virginia NENA/APCO Spring Conference is scheduled for May 20-22, 2027, in Williamsburg, Virginia.
This annual event brings together public safety communications professionals from across the state to engage in training sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendees can expect to discuss the latest industry trends, share best practices, and collaborate on enhancing emergency response services.

The Jim Davis Scholarship Application period has begun! Applications are being accepted through April 1, 2026. The scholarship provides an opportunity to a deserving Virginia telecommunicator in good standing with their organization to attend the Virginia Spring NENA/APCO Conference.
Scholarship criteria:
- Applicant has not previously utilized the Jim Davis Telecommunicator Scholarship in the past five calendar years.
- Applicant must be WORKING IN VIRGINIA currently.
- Applicant must be a member in good standing of his/her organization.
The scholarship winner receives:
- Complimentary conference registration (excluding pre-conference courses)
- Complimentary two-night stay at the conference hotel
